Christmas Photo Shoot

We did our 6 month photo shoot at our home last week with Kim Miller of Ramblin Rose Photography and they turned out beautifully!! We went with the Christmas theme and used our own decorations as a back drop. Camden did great and he looks like a doll. To look at the entire shoot go to http://www.ramblinrosephotography.com/ Click on Enter Site, Proofing Login, then type Lunsford as the password. Hope everyone has a very happy holidays! We are leaving in the morning and I hope the trip goes smooth, I think I have packed the entire house!

Such a big boy at 6 months!
Grandaddy is so funny! His mustache tickles too!

still laughing at Grandaddy Cresswell!

Visiting the "Recession economically challenged Santa" (that's what we thought about it) with Walker- but, hey it was free!
Just a little mean look

Camden's full out "Mean Mug" face.. you better watch it!!

At an ugly Christmas sweater party we helped host last week. Trey was Clark Griswold and I was an elf (note the tree skirt I wore as a real skirt, didn't do much for the figure but was funny!)
We are gearing up for our many different Christmas functions in the next few days! We have a total of 6 different Christmas' to go to this year. First mom's side at my house Friday, my Granny's in Tupelo at her nursing facility, my immediate family at my house Sunday, Trey's immediate family on Tuesday, our own family Wednesday am, then off to Texas for Great Grandma Maylene and the Schulle Christmas in west Texas. Then the next week on New Year's Day we are going to Dallas again to stay with Trey's Great Uncle Gene in his beautiful antebellum home for the Cotton Bowl. CC is traveling with us to watch Cam while Trey and I go watch the Texas Tech Red Raiders (trey's alma mater) beat the Ole Miss Rebels!! We have gone to bowl games the past two years and we always have fun, plus we have alot of friends going to watch Ole Miss play so we are really looking forward to visiting all them as well. Camden is officially 6 mths old. We had his 6 mth shoot with Kim Miller of Ramblin Rose last week and I cannot wait to share them when she uploads them to her site I will. Here are some new shots of him growing up. He went to see Santa with his cousin Walker and there are some next to his stuffed animals so you can chart his growth. He has started making what Trey and I call the "mean mug" face where he snorts really fast and makes an awful face. He isn't mad, just wanting attention I think. Mom said I used to do it as a baby! Speaking of mom, she just graduated from nursing school! We are all so proud of her! It has been a grueling 2 1/2 years and she came out shining. She even was asked to speak at graduation! The class started with 75 and dwindled to around 25 at graduation so we are so impressed that she made it and with flying colors. It was tough and now she is trying to figure out what she wants to do. for now she will stay put and may go to part time to orient as an RN and then who knows! Congrats CC!! Pray for our safe travel around here and in Texas in the next few weeks we have had some inclement weather the past couple days around here and we don't want any driving problems! Hope everyone has a very Merry CHRISTmas and a wonderful new Years. Safe Travels to you all as well!

MEEERRRRRYYYY CHRISTMAS!!!!

So sorry i haven't updated in so long!! I guess I didn't realize how busy we've been we had Thanksgiving and I've been working and going to classes at work, Christmas shopping, decorating, mailing out cards and just haven't seemed to have the time! But Camden is almost 6 months old now! Rolling over is a daily occurence and now sitting up is our new thing. He laughs alot and is constantly smiling, everyone always comments what a happy baby he is. Truly there are days that he never sheds a tear, I hope I didn't just jinx myself with that last one. He is sleeping great, eating great. We are now on to fruits and veggies and he loves them all. So far he seems to favor carrots and oatmeal with apple juice. we are really working with him to try and get him to crawl, but as soon as I put him on his tummy for tummy time, he is rolling right over to his back! No teeth yet, but sure is working on them! Also, this past week Trey and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary and my 29th birthday! It is so hard to believe we have been married for 3 years and together for 7! I guess time flies when you are having fun. We had a really romantic and delicious dinner at Flemings a nice steak place in Memphis while Jo Jo babysat and last night we went out for my birthday with a big group of friends to Cafe 61 my favorite restaurant downtown. It was kind of hectic (there were 16 people) but really fun! I am really blessed to have such wonderful friends and family and a beautiful husband and baby. I am praying that this recession won't affect us too bad although it's hard not to worry even though I think Trey and I have pretty secure jobs, you never know. We are going really light on Christmas this year and basically not doing too much for Camden's first Christmas. I don't think he will miss out on anything and Lord knows the child doesn't need much of anything! I will post more pictures after we take some 6 month pictures and from our respective Christmas' we are making the trek to Texas (about a 13 hour drive) so that should be interesting! I am a little nervous about how Camden will do and logistics of having a 6 mth old in a car for that long, but we are determined to make it work. There is a lot of family anxious to see our sweet little boy and we cannot wait to show him off! Keep us in your prayers...

5 months old

5 months old!
I just love the look on his face!

Camden is starting to eat veggies!

I love mommy!

Camden trying to learn how to push up and scoot

Such a sweetie!
So Camden is growing like a weed! At his last doctor's visit he weighed 16 pounds, but that was a few weeks ago so I'm sure he is much bigger now. The doctor gave us a feeding schedule for him to start solid foods! As a nursing mom, I have to say that this is sort of a relief! I plan to still nurse for a few more months or until I can't do it anymore, but now I am not his only source of food and as you can tell he requires alot! So far he has tried most of the veggies (we were told to start with those instead of fruit or he would never try them after having the fruits). He loves oatmeal cereal and rice. It is an adventure everytime we feed him. We have to have a drop cloth, bib, wet towels and sometimes I even wear an apron! It's so funny though and Camden loves when Trey does the "spoon airplane" he just smiles and laughs as he opens his mouth for the next bite! We are gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas which is a juggling act this year since nurses have to work alot of holidays- unfortunately people don't stop getting sick for the holidays! We went to see Granny in Tupelo where she is in the hospital last week and she looked better than expected. They now have discovered that she didn't have kidney cancer, but rather liver cancer on all lobes and is not healthy enough for chemo at this time. She is still sharp as a tack and was still laughing and telling us her famous stories in the hospital bed. Keep her in your prayers!

Happy Halloween and Cam as Michael Phelps

As you can see we are in the full Halloween spirit! Camden's costume is that of Michael Phelps this year! We had such a great time watching the Olympics and rooting on Phelps in his strive for 8 gold medals that we thought what a great icon for our son to emulate! We made the costume with the help of CC out of appliqued american flags, red & white stars , tanning goggles and a medal from a party favor store. We also drew a little olympic ring tattoo on his arm to complete the look. I also made a Halloween card to show Camden in his Halloween costumes and with the pumpkin patch. I thought it would be a better and more cost effective idea to email the image of the card rather than pay for the printing and postage to send out to everyone. I have to work this year on Halloween so Trey and I probably won't be dressing up. It will be the first Halloween we have missed in about 6 years. We are sort of known for our funny costumes so I am pretty sad about it! Some of our past costumes include: UPS delivery people, Teen Wolf and Boof, Napoleon Dynamite (Deb & Pedro), Deal or No Deal, and the Publisher Clearinghouse prize patrol (complete with giant check, my sister as the redneck lady who answers the door in her mumu and Trey as Ed MacMahon). I will have to post some pictures of these if I can find them for some laughs! Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween! Please continue to pray for my Granny as she goes through her cancer treatment, she is starting to lose quite a bit of weight and her health is declining.

At the punkin patch!

Tub Time!!
Sunday afternoon, playing with Daddy
Camden supporting his Mississippi State Bulldogs!
We have been very busy the past couple of weeks. We have had a couple of weddings, a rodeo, work, get togethers with friends etc. Camden got to go to his first rodeo a few weeks ago at the DeSoto Civic center. He wore his cute little snap button shirts and his new cowboy hat! Grandma Joan sent in a picture of him to the newspaper and the caption ready "Howdy: Joan Lunsford sent in a picture of her grandson, Camden Reed Lunsford enjoying his first rodeo in Southaven" It was pretty cool! Camden is very busy these days. He loves to play with toys and reach for things. He likes to eat both of his hands. I think he may be getting ready to cut some teeth! He likes to play in his exersaucer and squeal when we smile and talk to him. He also loves laying on his entertainment mat and reach up at the blinking lights and toys hanging down. He has started rolling over, but mainly will do pinwheels on the floor. I will lay him one way and when I come back in the room he will be facing the opposite direction! He is growing up so fast! He is now four months old and wearing 3-6 months, but inching closer to the 6 month end of clothes. He is wearing hand me downs of Walkers that Walker wore when he was 2 months older than Cam. We went to the pumpkin patch by our house and all picked out pumpkins, so we had a daddy, mommy, Wrigley and baby pumpkin for our front porch. We are getting our flower beds winterized at the moment with pansies, mums and cabbages so I will upload pics of that when I get done. Other than that we are just staying busy with work and taking care of the family! On a side note, please pray for my Granny Cresswell. She was recently diagnosed with kidney and bone cancer. She is currently getting treatments every Friday in Greenwood, MS. She seems to be doing pretty good, but it makes her not want to eat so she has been losing some weight. She is 85, so it is bound to take it's toll on her but she is a 40+ year breast cancer survivor so we know she is a fighter. We just pray that she stays healthy and feels ok so that we can enjoy a couple more years with her! I hopw all is well with everyone, we hope to see you all very soon!

10 year class reunion & early Halloween pics

My favorite is the "I Love Mummy" bib :)

This is my little gansta baby!

Some Halloween PJ's we got that will no longer fit by the time Halloween arrives! The cute owl hat was a gift from Mrs. Vicky Rollins:)

The girls before the big reunion.

With the wives at EP's where the reunion was held

Last weekend was my 10 year reunion, hard to believe it's been 10 years since I graduated highschool!! I still have quite a few friends from my class that we see almost every weekend so it was more like just getting together with our normal group of friends, but I did catch up with a few people I hadn't seen in a while. Friday night was the Homecoming football game where we all brought our children which was neat b/c not only was it Camden's first football game- but alot of people brought their children so it was nice to see their kids. Saturday we had the actual reunion at EP's delta kitchen (formerly Elvis Presley's) downtown. It was nice and they had a video playing with old pictures of us in highschool rolling the whole time which was hysterical! The other pictures are of Camden insome halloween outfits we got for him. When I bought them I thought they would fit for Halloween but it is looking like they won't so I figured I might as well get some pictures of him while they still fit! His real halloween costume will be a surprise but I will be sure to post a ton of pictures;) For the meantime I hope you enjoy!
