I finally took some photos of the current nursery. I still am waiting on my mom to sew the crib skirt and the curtain as well as the quilt which we will probably hang on the opposite wall. I have the bookshelf stocked with beatrix potter books and other little bunny accessories. I have framed a few illustrations from the nursery rhyme series and painted letters and Trey and I hung them last weekend. I also took a pic of me at 24 weeks I am now 25 weeks. I read on the internet that Camden most likely weights 1 and 1/2 pounds and 13.5 inches tall. The top of my uterus now reaches between my bellybutton and my sternum and if roughly the size of a soccer ball! No wonder none of my clothes fit anymore! It seems like I have so little time until he will actually be here! I cannot wait until we get to meet our little man:)

It's official I'm pregnant and strangers are noticing!
I guess the cat's out of the bag, people are starting to ask me how far along I am! I guess in this past week or two my belly went from a pooch to a real pregnant stomach. It was kind of a good and bad thing. I am waving goodbye to my waist and saying hello to mommyhood. It is good though b/c now people who I would catch looking at my stomach and wondering if I just had a beer belly or if I was indeed pregnant can tell without wondering. I had two patient's this week whose family visitors asked me how far along I am while I was in their family members room working. I was a little excited I have to admit. I am ready for the fully round belly so I can feel Camden moving around all the time! I have made some progress on the nursery. We found a dresser, but will be on backorder until April:( So I may wait to get it. I have gotten several little accessories this week like some more B. Potter books, and a little finger puppet book, and some figurines off ebay. My mom and I are still working on the bedding and crib skirt, so it will look much more put together once all of that is finished. I have some more photos of Walker I wanted to put up. Trey and I both hope that our little boy has 1/2 the personality he does and is sweet as he is!!

Waiting for baby...
This blog is for our little bundle of joy that we are expecting early June 2008! I will be updating this blog as much as possible. Trey and I have been married for two years now and this is our first child. Trey is working at his dad's Budweiser distributor as the Service Manager which he really loves. I just recently graduated from nursing school and am an RN at Methodist University in the CVICU. We are so excited about our son and cannot wait to meet him! For now we have settled on a name Camden! We haven't decided if this will be his first name or middle name and haven't made the final decision on the second name. We will probably call him "Cam" for short. Right now we are very busy getting the nursery and house ready for our new arrival. We have transformed our office into the nursery with sage green walls and white crib and espresso furniture with chocolate brown accents. The theme is Beatrix Potter (the writer/illustrator of the turn of the century nursery rhymes of Peter Rabbit, Jeremy Fisher, and Jemima Puddleduck). Camden's grandmother, CC (cindy cresswell) has been busy helping sew gorgeous beatrix potter themed bumper pads, quilt, pillows, crib skirt and curtains. We have some beautiful prints on the wall of the nursery rhymes. We refurbished my grandmother's glider with new sage cushions and espresso colored stain. We are still shopping for a few accessories and a dresser/changing table to complete the room. We have several hand-me-down outfits from his older cousin Walker and his CC already! I will upload pictures of the nursery once I get more done!
