The three of us gearing up for the rodeo

Tub Time!!
Sunday afternoon, playing with Daddy
Camden supporting his Mississippi State Bulldogs!
We have been very busy the past couple of weeks. We have had a couple of weddings, a rodeo, work, get togethers with friends etc. Camden got to go to his first rodeo a few weeks ago at the DeSoto Civic center. He wore his cute little snap button shirts and his new cowboy hat! Grandma Joan sent in a picture of him to the newspaper and the caption ready "Howdy: Joan Lunsford sent in a picture of her grandson, Camden Reed Lunsford enjoying his first rodeo in Southaven" It was pretty cool! Camden is very busy these days. He loves to play with toys and reach for things. He likes to eat both of his hands. I think he may be getting ready to cut some teeth! He likes to play in his exersaucer and squeal when we smile and talk to him. He also loves laying on his entertainment mat and reach up at the blinking lights and toys hanging down. He has started rolling over, but mainly will do pinwheels on the floor. I will lay him one way and when I come back in the room he will be facing the opposite direction! He is growing up so fast! He is now four months old and wearing 3-6 months, but inching closer to the 6 month end of clothes. He is wearing hand me downs of Walkers that Walker wore when he was 2 months older than Cam. We went to the pumpkin patch by our house and all picked out pumpkins, so we had a daddy, mommy, Wrigley and baby pumpkin for our front porch. We are getting our flower beds winterized at the moment with pansies, mums and cabbages so I will upload pics of that when I get done. Other than that we are just staying busy with work and taking care of the family! On a side note, please pray for my Granny Cresswell. She was recently diagnosed with kidney and bone cancer. She is currently getting treatments every Friday in Greenwood, MS. She seems to be doing pretty good, but it makes her not want to eat so she has been losing some weight. She is 85, so it is bound to take it's toll on her but she is a 40+ year breast cancer survivor so we know she is a fighter. We just pray that she stays healthy and feels ok so that we can enjoy a couple more years with her! I hopw all is well with everyone, we hope to see you all very soon!

10 year class reunion & early Halloween pics

My favorite is the "I Love Mummy" bib :)

This is my little gansta baby!

Some Halloween PJ's we got that will no longer fit by the time Halloween arrives! The cute owl hat was a gift from Mrs. Vicky Rollins:)

The girls before the big reunion.

With the wives at EP's where the reunion was held

Last weekend was my 10 year reunion, hard to believe it's been 10 years since I graduated highschool!! I still have quite a few friends from my class that we see almost every weekend so it was more like just getting together with our normal group of friends, but I did catch up with a few people I hadn't seen in a while. Friday night was the Homecoming football game where we all brought our children which was neat b/c not only was it Camden's first football game- but alot of people brought their children so it was nice to see their kids. Saturday we had the actual reunion at EP's delta kitchen (formerly Elvis Presley's) downtown. It was nice and they had a video playing with old pictures of us in highschool rolling the whole time which was hysterical! The other pictures are of Camden insome halloween outfits we got for him. When I bought them I thought they would fit for Halloween but it is looking like they won't so I figured I might as well get some pictures of him while they still fit! His real halloween costume will be a surprise but I will be sure to post a ton of pictures;) For the meantime I hope you enjoy!

3 Months Old

It's hard to believe but Camden is already 3 months old! Last monday Tracy (Aunt TT), Cam and I went to our photographer Kim Miller's house for a little photo shoot. She is the owner of Ramblin Rose photography who also shot his newborn shots, our wedding, engagement and bridal pictures. I absolutely love her work, and since we had her do our wedding she has gotten very big in Memphis. I highly recommend her if you need any wedding of family portraits done. We have had several friends use her and they all have been very happy. To look at the full shoot, go to www.ramblinrosephotography.com Click enter site, then Proofing login, and the case sensitive password is Lunsford. I also had my ten year class reunion this past weekend and I will upload some images from that as soon as I get the cd back from Walgreen's. Last week I lost my really nice 12 megapixel camera and now only have my old camera which I no longer have the usb cable for and have to download them at Walgreen's and get a cd made! Can you tell I am a little scatterbrained lately?! Camden is getting bigger daily and starting to become more independent. He no longer needs us to rock him to sleep at night, if it is his bedtime we can now lay him in his bed and turn on his light show musical toy and he will lay there quietly and look at the stars and moons that are being projected on the wall until he eventually drifts off to sleep! It is nice because it gives Trey and I a minute to spend alone in the den watching our favorite shows or talking about our days. Stay tuned for more pictures I also have some early Halloween shots I need to put up as well!

Camden's Baptism

This Sunday we had Cam baptized at our church Getwell Road United Methodist Church. It was really sweet and the preacher held him and he just smiled when he rub the water on his head! The entire congregation all just said "AWWW" when he was holding him. The meaning of the ceremony was really important to Trey and I and we pledged in front of God, our family and church that we are going to do our best to raise our son in a Christian home and teach him about the Lord and show him God's love through our actions. I was so proud of Camden and got teary as we repeated our pledge, it was very special. We had the family come and one of my friends from nursing school made it. We had a little lunch at the house afterwards. Pray that we will be good parents to Camden and that we will be strong in our faith and keep Camden in church and learn about God through us. The last pic is just one of Camden enjoying his exersaucer for the first time, he LOVES it!

12 weeks old & Debra's wedding

It's hard to believe it, but Cam is actually 12 weeks old! He has gotten so big and now into 3-6 month clothes. I always heard they would outgrow their clothes really fast but I have to inventory his wardrobe each week and pack up more clothes that he has alreday outgrown! He is sleeping through th night and trying to rollover. He can reach at toys and even make then play music. He is growing up so fast!
Camden got to go to his first wedding this weekend. One of my best friends Debra Nugent got married this weekend and I was in the wedding. Trey brought Cam in for the ceremony (which was lovely) and then we all went to the reception downtown at the Central Train Station. It was a great time and Camden did pretty good. The band was great, but a little loud for such little ears, so we left a little early. Also I included some pictures of Camden in his Texas Tech onesie and "kleats". Actually they are socks, that his Aunt Tracy bought him that have laces and look like real shoes. His daddy is really excited about football season and he and Cam getting to watch the games together every Saturday!

Camden in his swim trunks!

With Uncle Ricky (my dad's brother) and below with "Aunt Fam" (my best friend from college)

Cam loves swimming in the bathtub

Bed time in his cute pj's from "Aunt Brooke"

Beautiful "Home Run" quilt that Aunt Marie made us, Thank you!!

We had a lot of fun times the past few weeks. The three of us went to Lake Martin in Alabama for our annual lake trip with our friends the Dukes and Kelley Fam & her fiance Luke. We have been going to Brooke's family's lakehouse for the past four years. It was a great time with friends however the weather was not our friend. Faye made her way into Alabama and it rained the whole time we were there. We didn't get to go out on the lake at all, but we had fun visiting and cooking and playing games. I included a few photos of Trey and Cam on the pier the Friday we got there when the weather wasn't quite so bad. Of course we have some bathtime pictures which Camden loves! We also made it by my uncle Ricky's house in Birmingham which was a great visit! I also put up a pic of the beautiful quilt that my great aunt Marie Jones made for Camden. It is a baseball themed quilt that couldn't be more appropriate for our family:) Thank you Aunt Marie! Camden is getting bigger everyday he is now in 3 month old clothes and at his last visit he weighed 13 pounds (75th percentile) and was 24 1/2 inches long (90th percentile!) he is doing really well at the babysitters and sleeps through the night for dad when I go to work three nights a week. Pray for my work, it has been especially challenging for me lately and I am trying to work through the difficulties I've been having.

August Activities

We have had alot going on this first few weeks of August. Trey's uncle Gene from Dallas came in and we celebrated his birthday with him. Then last weekend Trey's grandmother Maylene came to visit and we celebrated her birthday early as well. We joined Getwell Road United Methodist Church and Camden went to church for the first time. See his sweet picture in his "outfit" as Trey calls it (he doesn't care much for the sweet dressy clothes for a boy!) Camden did really good, we didn't put him in the nursery b/c he hasn't had his vaccinations yet. But he slept through most of the service and we gave him a bottle and had to leave once to change his diaper but other than that he was perfect. We are talking with the preacher to have him baptized/dedicated in the next month or so. We want him to be raised in a Christian home and this is ours and the church's way of promising to God that this is our plan. Camden is getting so big and he really has a sweet disposition. I love our time together in the mornings because he and I have our "coffee talks". I tried to include a video of it for you to see but it took too long to upload so I will try again later. He looks around alot and coos and smiles more in the morning. It is really special. I also have included pictures from Camden's 8 week pose with the stuffed giraffe and sock monkey. He has gotten so big!! On another note, pray that our babysitter gets better. I started back to work this week and Cam was to go to a lady who lives across the street from us, but after I left to head to work Rochelle called and said she had to be rushed to the hospital Friday night because she was having a panic attack and thought her throat was swelling shut and then she ended up being diagnosed with strep throat. I just hope that she is better and that our arrangement will work out for next week. We had to scramble to enlist all the help we could get to watch the baby so I could get back to work. And pray for Bryce Duke who is in town with his mom my best friend Brooke. He fell while at his Cappy's house off of an ottoman and broke his clavicle! It was a freak accident and he is doing ok, but has a sling and is in some pain. Poor thing!
