My best friends threw Camden and I a beautiful shower this past weekend. We had a great time and it was so much fun visiting with everyone and the gifts were overwhelming! Both sets of grandparents went overboard. Grandad Lunsford generously gave us a $500 gift card for diapers~ I know that will come in handy! We got tons of clothes, bathing stuff, a video monitor, a bouncy chair, a stroller, high chair, toys, books and handmade onesies and a Beatrix Potter themed quilt. It was so much and I cannot believe how generous everyone was! My roommate from college even made it up that morning from Jackson, MS only to turn back around and drive back! It was really special to share with everyone Camden's nursery and all of the gifts he has. We worked hard on the house the weeks leading up to the shower Trey extended our small patio with paver stones and we got some new patio furniture. We also re-landscaped the front with new flowers and mulch. Trey has our yard looking fantastic and is secretly in competition with all the neighbors on the the condition of the lawn. Personally I think we have the best yard on the block!! I am so ready for Camden to be here and I think he is getting ready too. I have been seeing alot more movement from him and I have been having quite a few Braxton Hicks contractions. I'm not sure but it feels as if he has dropped and I have been having some pain in my lower abdomen and sciatic nerve pain down my leg. I go to the Doctor on Thursday and I am hoping that I have dilated even more and that I may be able to be induced early. I am so ready to be a mom and not pregnant anymore!! I have to go I need to go sleep before my shift tonight! I'll keep trying to update the blog as much as possible.

36 weeks- finally one month to go!
So I am finally 9 months pregnant! I can't say that this month has been easy. I am starting to have some trouble sleeping, heartburn (for the first time in my life) , and extremely tired all the time. Up until now I have had it really smooth but I guess I had to experience some negatives at one point or another! But Camden has been very active and I love it. He kicks and kicks and Trey and others are finally able to feel him move. It is so strange to think of a little person just hanging out inside of me! Trey and I went to our last birthing class tonight at the hospital. We learned relaxation techniques, breathing patterns, when to come to the hospital and what all to expect. Trey makes fun of me because we watched alot of videos of other births and I get teary with each one! Tonight we were asked to write our baby's a letter to put in their baby book and I started getting weepy over that! Trey just shook his head! I just cannot imagine how much love I am going to have for this little precious boy and how exciting it is going to be to see him in person for the first time. I have witnessed probably 20 births during nursing school and it is the most special thing you could ever imagine I can't wait!! The nursery is finally finished. Mom sewed the crib skirt which happened to be out of the same material that my bridesmaid dresses were made of at our wedding (weird coincidence, huh?). We searched for weeks for the perfect material and when we went to one fabric store I saw the material and we both agreed it was perfect. We also got our dresser in and couldn't be happier! It all looks better than I had imagined. Trey has been busy outside getting our yard in shape and extending our patio. I planted alot of flowers in the front and everything is looking great. I will post pics as soon as I take them. Meanwhile here is the nursery, me at 36 weeks, and us at a friends wedding last weekend. My best friends from college are throwing me and Camden a shower this weekend at our house and I am really excited to see everyone and show off the nursery!!

Our Baby Shower

This past weekend some of our really good friends and my sister threw us a couple's baby shower this past weekend at my friend Amanda's house. It was awesome they had a taco bar which was yummy. Alot of friends were able to come and Trey and I had a blast. Everyone gave us so much stuff!! I felt a little guilty that they all did so much. We all had a great time and you can see how hard we laughed while opening the gifts from all of the funny stuff our friends were saying. I got a good picture of most of the girls that were there (some had already left during this pic) but didn't get one of all the guys. I included pics from the shower and pictures of the gifts (there are a couple of things that we got earlier from family). I also wanted to show how many clothes Camden already has, I put the picture from his closet that is already full of clothes! He has gotten alot of handmedowns from his cousin and my best friend Brooke's little boy plus family and we have gotten a few items, he is pretty stocked to say the least!! We have been so blessed to have such an outpouring of love and generosity from our friends and family. This little boy is going to be so spoiled and I love it!

The Masters- Augusta, GA

So we went to the Masters in Augusta, GA on Monday. We drove to Athens Sunday night and stayed at a hotel with some friends of Trey's from Texas. (I was the only girl). We had to get up at 4:00 AM to make the drive into Augusta since Athens was still a 2 hour drive from Augusta. But if you wanted to stay near the Masters you would have to pay around $300 a night! We got to Augusta National and made it in by 8:30. It was so cool! The greens were incredible not a blade of grass out of place. The azaleas were gorgeous and in full bloom. The pro shop was like a mad house people were loading up baskets of golf shirts, club head covers, towels, prints and hats. Money was no option it seemed and they were spending 100s of 1000s of dollars. The cheapest golf shirt I saw was $60 and most of them were over $100! It was crazy. Although the concession stands still serve egg salad and other sandwiches for $1.50 with drinks only $1.00. We walked the course which was tougher than I thought it would be on me. I guess Camden has gotten so big that he is pushing up on my diaphragm making it hard to get a deep breath and making me out of breath easily. The course was extremely hilly so I was struggling through a lot of it. Trey was really sweet though if I said I needed a break we would stop and I would open my tripod chair and sit. He never complained about me slowing him down. The best part was that we got to see Tiger Woods on three different holes. He was all business and seemed to have tunnel vision and the crowds didn't phase him. We posted up at 16 for a while it is the par 3 that the golfer has to hit over a pond onto the green. It is the hole that Tiger hit a few years ago where he chipped it up on the green it rolled to the edge of the hole and hung on the lip until it dramatically fell in and everyone erupted! But the tradition is for the golfers on practice round days to skip the ball across the water and try for the green. A few golfers did it and everyone loved it. It was a fun trip and I'm glad we got to go especially Trey it was like a once in a lifetime deal and he was so excited. It is like going to the Mecca of golf and I'm glad we got to go! The pics are kind of dark because it was overcast and my digital camera went missing so all I had was a 35 mm so that explains the low quality of this images. Most of these are of Tiger since that is who we followed most of the day, there is a shot of 16 and part of Amen's corner. One pic is of the guys we referred to as the "whippers" they just walked down the course before the golfer and took these long pointed whips and swung them across the fairways I guess knocking off the dew. It was weird.

Losing Ma
Some of you may know that this past week we lost my grandmother Hazel Graves, but to us she was always "Ma". She went into the hospital Saturday night was placed on a ventilator and then had to be resuscitated and experienced loss of brain function. It was advised to us that we withdraw life support and so as a family the decision was made and as right as it was it was the hardest thing I've ever experienced. We all were there when she left this earth and were at her bedside until the very end. It was so emotionally taxing and heartbreaking. But we all are celebrating her life and knowing that she is in heaven smiling down on us and no longer in pain. This is a picture of Ma at my wedding 2 years ago after she got her hair and makeup done by a professional and she was showing off like she was the belle of the ball. It was so funny! But that was Ma. She will be missed and Camden will know all about his Ma and even though they never met, she was very excited about a new great grandbaby. She loved Walker and would play with him and laugh with him whenever he was around her. I have been reliving all the funny stories about Ma with my cousins and my mom, aunt, and uncle and so her memory will live on. She will be extremely missed and a hole is left in all of our hearts for this little 85 pound redheaded fireball that was "Ma".

Disney World!!

So we went to Tampa, Florida two weeks ago to see our friends Lance and Emilee. We were going to go to the Houston Astros spring training game on Friday night when we got there but it was raining so we ended up eating dinner with the Neikros and Emily's brother and 8 1/2 month pregnant sis in law. It was fun b/c we compared notes on the pregnancy and since Emilee is a nurse anesthetist she checked both of us to see how difficult it would be for us to get an epidural. She said we should be easyy sticks! Whew! I do not want there to be any problems in this area:) Saturday since we had the day to ourselves we decided to go to Disney World! I haven't been since I was in elementary school and Trey had never been. He always complained that his parents never went while he was little, so I figured we should go check it out for Camden:) We just went to Epcot b.c I thought it would be more entertaining for people w/out children. There wasn't a lot I could do b/c of the pregnancy so I'm sure we missed some cool rides but Trey wouldn't ride without me, so we stuck to the educational and kiddie rides! It would be much better with kids there I have to admit, but I loved looking at all the flowers and decorations. They had alot of the Disney characters made totally out of greenery and flowers. It was gorgeous! I got some ideas for my flowerbeds for this summer. It was ALOT of walking, but I took a few breaks and we had ice cream so I was happy:)
Random Pictures

I have some pictures that I haven't downloaded in a while these are a few weeks ago when an old sorority sister friend of mine Courtney came in town and we all went downtown to eat and Earnestine and Hazel's. The other pictures of bathtime with the Walkman. We decided to have fun and give him a little mohawk! He loves splashing the water and can hit it so hard that it will soak the area around the tub and even splashes on the mirror across the room! Also there is a pic of Walker trying on his uncle Trey's new boots. I will upload pics from Misty and Jimmy's wedding as soon as I get them downloaded from Tracy's camera.
